I was raised in Northwest Montana and spent my childhood and teen years in the Flathead Valley, graduating from Flathead High School in 1983 before moving on to Montana State University (MSU) in Bozeman, MT. I enlisted in the Montana National Guard and Army ROTC in 1986 while attending MSU. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Accounting from MSU and commissioned in the United States Army Reserve in 1988. After graduating, I utilized the advanced Army ROTC training I received throughout college and joined the United State Army Reserve in June 1988. While in the U.S. Army Reserve, I served in the Middle East during Operation Desert Storm where I received the National Defense Service Medal in service to the liberation of Kuwait. Overall, I spent 10 years in service of the U.S. Army Reserve and MT National Guard.
For financial services experience, I was awarded my Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certificate in January 1991. In the process of performing accounting services, I worked on and received my financial securities and insurance licenses in 1994, where I have worked in accounting, tax preparation and investment services in Kalispell, MT for nearly 30 years. For my investment practice, I currently service clients in many different states across the entire United States spanning from Washington to North Carolina.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my incredible wife and the beauty of nature in the area around Kalispell while supporting my local community. My favorite hobbies include skiing in the wintertime and exploring nature while hiking in the warmer months.
